    Description

    I. General Description

    ZCT245AL-485-BUS is a two-axis tilt sensor which developed and produced by Shanghai ZC sensor. Its measuring range is ±45 degree.It can communicate with PC via RS485.

     

    II. Features

    V. Data output format

    The device adopt serial communication way to output data.Output format: ASCII.

    1. RS485 communication protocol setting

      Baud rate: 9600bps, Start bit: 1bit, Data bit: 8bit, Stop bit: 1bit, Parity bit: None

    2. Angle output format:

    One set of data has 9 bytes.

    VI. User command(hex format):

    1. 0x1A 0x0C XX 0x0D ――setting the address of the sensor’s axes. Reurn 0x2A 0x0C XX 0x0F after successfully set.  XX means the address of the sensor’s x axes,its range from0×01 to 0×20 and defaulted value is 0×01. Y axis address is XX+0×01,Y axis defaulted address is 0×02, when X address is 0×20, Y axis address is 0×01.
    2. 0x1A 0x1C XX 0x0D ――setting the current angle as zero position. Return 0x2A 0x1C 0x0F aftr successfully set. XX means the address of the sensor’s axes,
    3. 0x1A 0x0E NN 0x0D――setting filtering rate.NN canbe set as 0×01(fastest)/0×02/0×03/0×04(slowest). There is no return value when successfully set and then the sensor comes into ready state.
    4. 0x1A 0x1E XX 0x0D――reading the inclination value. XX means the address of the sensor’s axes. Return value is the same as digital output.

    2. Installation attention

    Incorrect installment will lead to a big tolerance on the measured angle. Make sure the correct installation of ‘two planes’ and ‘two lines’,please pay attention to the following two points:

    ①: ‘two planes’ means mounting surface of the sensor should entirely be close to the mounting surface of the measured objects(the mounting surface of the measured objects should be horizontal as possible as it can). Angle is not allowed(eg: angle a in diagram A). Correct installation method refers to diagram B.

    ②:‘two lines’ means the axis line should parallel to the axis line of the measured objects. Angle is not allowed(eg: angle b in diagram C). Correct installation method refers to diagram D.
